These terms describe what you can expect from NepaliType and what we expect from you. Using the site means you agree to them. Where the terms here disagree with the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy wins on data-handling questions.
Use of the service
NepaliType is a typing-practice tool. You may use it to learn, prepare for exams, or build typing skills. The site is provided as is — features may change, surfaces may move, and we may pause or restart the service for maintenance without prior notice.
Your account
- You are responsible for the security of your password.
- One person, one account. Sharing credentials is not allowed.
- Pick an honest username. We may reclaim usernames that impersonate others or are clearly squatted.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings — see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after deletion.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Run automated traffic against the typing engine or APIs.
- Attempt to extract content (lessons, drill texts, leaderboard data) for commercial republication.
- Inject content that targets another user — harassment is grounds for account closure.
- Reverse-engineer, deobfuscate, or otherwise abuse the service in ways that hurt other users.
Premium features
Some features may require a paid plan in the future. Pricing, billing cycles, and what each plan includes will be shown on the pricing page when paid plans are available. Refunds and cancellations will be governed by the terms attached to that plan at purchase time. During the current beta no payment is required.
Disclaimers
NepaliType is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that you will pass a typing exam, reach a specific WPM target, or that the service will be free of bugs or interruptions. Practice helps; outcomes vary.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, NepaliType and the team behind it are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months — which, during the current beta, is zero.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product matures. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and called out in-app for active users.
